Reviewing Policy

This blog is all about reading, books, authors, reviews, and recommendations. Trust my ability to be professional when reviewing and giving my opinion about a book. I do not intend to change readers mind and point of view about any books or authors, my intention is to spark curiosity and interest. When I write a review I keep my personal prejudices aside, I know the difference between ‘nasty’ and ‘negative.’ I do not play favoritism and I don’t play devil’s advocate.

I don’t usually post reviews with a rating lower than 3 stars, only under certain circumstances, I have done so and only when the quality of the story & writing style calls for. I believe in only sharing what I like and enjoy. I do not review books on my DNF list (Did not finish). The start system on this blog goes from 1 to 5 stars, but rarely my ratings go below  3 stars.

Front time to time I post reviews on Amazon at the request of the author, but most times reviews can be found on this blog and Goodreads. You can follow me on Goodreads here.

I am happy to say that 90% of the books reviewed on this blog are purchased or borrowed via Amazon Unlimited, however, I am happy to receive books from authors & publishers alike for reviewing purposes.

I am currently accepting #indie & #selfpub books. Please note that I have a fulltime job as well as a family, I will NOT review more than 1 book a week and I will only accept books that are under the genres below. #indie & #selfpub authors, before you submit your book for review, read the section where it lists the genres I am accepting.
