Review: I was looking for something lite, sexy and short to read and thanks to Kindle Unlimited I found just that. Taryn’s Tiderider is the first book I read by the authors above and it certainly will not be the last.
I enjoyed this short story, both authors did a great job putting together a set of characters that bring not only passion to the story but also a lot of fun.
The story develops in post-apocalyptic earth that has been ravaged by The Rising. Now, the world has been taken over by outlaws and ruthless men who enslave. Pirates scout the land and sea in search for people to enslave, they ravage the land and take everything and everyone they find. For millennia, Atlantians have been living among humans in the depth of the ocean. They have always considered humans an invasive species, one that looks for the destruction of not only themselves but everything around them.
As the world changes and evolves around humans, prehistoric animals to have made their way back into the land of men. The oceans are again the habitat to what was once extinct. Finding provisions have become difficult the few humans who have managed to stay free, having to move from one place to another has proven a challenge and now that danger comes in more ways than pirates McKinzie & her brother Shadow have the responsibility to move their people to a safer place.
As Kinzie takes it upon herself to find solutions, she comes across a situation that changes her life forever, not knowing what to do she sets herself to do the only thing she knew was best, help the woman who she found unconscious in the water.
But perilous circumstances haven’t only taken over humans, Atlantians too have seen their numbers diminish due to lack of natural births, but they working on changing that. This story is fun and full of sexy and steamy moments that will keep you glued to the pages. Grab it, it is short, sexy and romantic. There isn’t much angst but there is plenty in this story to be excited about the next installment.
