Description: In this short novella, Shapeshifter Raven Grace and her psychic lover, Finn McPhee, are back, traveling to parallel time in search of a demonic killer.
Review: Raven’s Quest is a short but entertaining read. It has the necessary ingredients to make a good series. The novella is only 99 pages long. The story has a good plot; Raven & Finn travel between planes trying to find a killer, and not just any killer.
Finn is a sexy and smart detective who is more than just Raven’s partner. He is also her lover. Raven’s is a shapeshifter whose ability comes handy in times of trouble. I recommend reading Rave’s Kiss so that you can get familiar with the characters. Raven’s ability come from an earlier encounter with a demon, which should’ve killed her but instead gave her the ability to shift.
The characters have good interaction and dialog. Their personality is entertaining and adds the spice necessary to keep this read interesting. My only complaint is how short the story was, and a few minor typos, but that didn’t take away enjoyment. A nice read, an author you may want to keep an eye on.
