REVIEW: One often say, “Do not judge a book by its cover” well I did exactly that. I purchased this book because I found the cover to be alluring and sensual.
Naked is the first book in The Blackstone Affair Series. It is also the first book I read by Raine Miller, but it will not be the last. This book is nicely written, it has the necessary ingredients to make it a big hit among the Erotica/Romance fans.
Naked is an emotional, sexy and erotic roller-coaster with very sexy and grounded characters; Brynne’s secret makes this read intriguing, interesting and different from others in the genre. Naked is filled with strong emotions, struggles and situations that feel real. There is sexual tension, there is an undeniable attraction between the two characters and the drama behind it puts the reader on edge. The writing style shows the passion and raw desires of two characters united by more than a coincidence.
I liked how nicely developed these characters are, though we do not know a lot about Brynne’s reasons for moving to the UK, we do know however that those reasons were life changing for her. She leaves behind sorrow, the pain and horror keeps her awake at night. While she is in the UK trying to make a living as a model, she meets the a sexy business who was enthralled by her picture.
“That picture changed everything. I was not the same after I saw it and I couldn’t go back to the man I’d been before seeing it either. Not after we met that night on the street. My whole world altered because of a photograph. A photograph of my beautiful American girl.”
Ethan is a business man in the field of personal security. He is handsome, rich and he is English. His accent as well as his sex appeal & dominant “take no” for an answer attitude makes him interesting, dangerous and totally irresistible.
This is such a sexy story, I am enamored with both characters, Brynne is delicate yet strong and Ethan is powerful yet sensitive. I enjoyed the passion, the sex and love-making, the dialog and the interaction. I think this is my new favorite couple. Move aside Christian & Anastasia, Ethan & Brynne are here to stay!
