Description:Too many days of living on soda and energy drinks have left Ink Monroe too keyed up to sleep. She needs a good ride to release her sexual tension so she can get some rest, but when the perfect hottie turns her down flat, she’s too pissed to keep looking. Hooking up with a stranger is not Jet Ryan’s style, but when he rescues the beautiful tattoo artist from the groping hands of a drunk, his personal boundaries fall to a desire to make her scream. He just needs to get past her anger, prove he’s not a serial killer, and show her what letting go is all about.
REVIEW: Beautiful Ink is a very short and steamy read. Though there wasn’t much where to pull from as far as romance and development, it was entertaining. Bella isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants or take it for that matter, Jet though he is reserved he isn’t afraid to show his skills and give Bella what she needs. She needs relieve and Jet is willing to oblige. Have a fan close by because the steam coming off from the sex scene will definitely get you hot. The only thing I didn’t like about the story, is how short it was.
Do I recomend this book? Heck Yeah!
Thank you L.C. Dean’s for accepting this interview, I have listed a set of questions that I believe will help your fans and readers get to know you a little bit more.
SR: Welcome. Can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
L.C: Thank you so much for having me here today. I love your little angel and devil. They’re adorable! I was born and raised in the Midwest but have lived all over the United States. Currently, I live in Minnesota with a lovable and spoiled rotten coonhound. I spend a great deal of my free time with friends and family, but I read most everything I can get my hands on and I write when I can.
SR: Please tell us about the book you’d like to discuss. What’s it about?
L.C: “Beautiful Ink,” part of the Sturgis Rally Riders from Decadent Publishing’s EDGE series, is a short erotic tale set in Sturgis, South Dakota. The Sturgis Motorcycle Classic is the largest motorcycle rally in the country and hosts people from all around the world each August. While the other three books in the series focus on people who descend on the Black Hills for fun or escape, Beautiful Ink is different in that it looks, however briefly, at the local population and the vendors. Ink Monroe is a tattoo artist and Jet Ryan is a rancher. Both offer a different peek at what most consider a week of pure fun.
SR: Where did you get the inspiration or idea for this book?
L.C: Valarie Mann and Kate Richards asked if I would like to write an EDGE. I got the idea for setting the story in Sturgis when a friend called to invite me to join her and her husband there. Once I wrote the first one, the rest just flowed touching on various reasons people attend the week-long event. It didn’t seem right to not include at least one sexy local boy. It didn’t seem right so Jet and his attitude were born.
SR: What is your favorite thing to do when you aren’t writing?
L.C: In the summer, I love camping over the weekend at one of the many Minnesota lakes. Wintertime, my friends and I often go cross-country skiing. I wish I could say I can downhill ski, but that just sounds like broken bones waiting to happen. I prefer to sit by the fire in a lodge with a book and hot chocolate while everyone else takes their life and limbs in their hands. For me, it is more about the brief getaway than the actual event. I guess that’s why I write short stories. They provide the perfect mini escape in today’s busy world.
SR: How many hours a day do you devote to writing? Do you have a set routine or do you write when the mood strikes?
L.C: I write when I can. My work schedule is hectic so I often give up sleep to write, usually my muse hauls me out of bed at one or two in the morning, so it is definitely when the mood strikes.
SR: Do you have any upcoming projects in the works or other books that have been published?
L.C: Most of my work is through Decadent Publishing. http://www.decadentpublishing.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Although L.C. currently resides in Minnesota, South Dakota remains home on many levels and will forever hold a place in her heart. She loves to write but her day job keeps her from it more often than she would like. If you get a moment, drop her a note. She always loves to hear from readers.
