REVIEW: Fidelity is the final book in the Infidelity series by Aleatha Romig. This romantic and angst-filled love story comes to an end, but not without taking readers into a wild roller-coaster ride.
The culmination of the series brought back all the angst and drama that one can expect from Aleatha’s stories. In Fidelity, we experience Charli helpless situation and Nox’s frustrations. Once Charli arrived in Georgia her life took a turn for the worse. The story takes us into a crazy roller-coaster of emotions and situations that seem impossible for these characters to overcome.
As the story progresses we learn a lot more from these characters, Oren’s admission and story about his relationship with Charli’s mother gave the story a needed balance and depth without taking away from Nox & Charli’ tumultuous love story. Aleatha manages to maintain a certain level of suspense without making it over the top. We have seen these characters grow from the moment they met to the moment when their dreams shattered. I think Fidelity gave readers more depth and a better perception of what wealth and power can do to people.
I enjoyed this series very much, its grasp on these characters emotions was beautiful, and the way the author exploit it gave the story a finality that convinced us that love conquers all. I can’t deny Aleatha’s writing has been improving a lot more over the years she evoke strong emotions and her characters give us a different perspective when dealing with difficult situations. Even though at times the circumstances of their actions seem far fetch, the story itself involves such a complex yet believable plot that the reader can’t deny its intensity and impact it leaves in our heart.
