Description: LOVE. SEX. MAGIC.

Before her 20th birthday, Gabriella was pretty much clueless about all three. In love with her best guy friend since the age of 14 and too crass and intimidating for most of the male population of Colorado Springs, both love and good sex were virtually a myth.

And then there’s magic. Freakin’ magic. There’s no way that legend could have a place in her less than exciting life. So why after twenty years of utter obscurity do her adopted parents hit her with the ton of bricks that is her true identity? And how the heck is she supposed to accept all this and instantly become what she was destined to be?

Lucky for Gabs, sexy as sin Dorian is more than equipped to help her embrace these new revelations. And while everything about him feels oh so good, she soon learns that there’s more behind his crystal blue eyes, chiseled body and exotic beauty. Something dark, menacing and downright unnatural. Yet Gabs is in way too deep to even try to turn away from him now.

*Contains strong adult content.

REVIEW: When I came across this series I was overwhelmed by the positive reviews and comments I saw. I felt compelled to read it and boy was I in for a treat.

Dark Light is a New Adult Paranormal that has broken all the rules. The plot is entertaining and original, the characters are sexy, dark and passionate. The story is highly entertaining and fresh, giving the reader a wild ride into the world of magic, the good and the bad, the deceit that usually follows the supernatural and of course the sexy and dangerous vibe one can’t deny to love and enjoy.

Gabriella has always felt different, not just because her life has always been a little above mediocre but because nothing seems to be ever above average, she doesn’t experience life as everyone else does, she feels like something is missing, like she doesn’t belong. Her grades are average, she isn’t good in sports, and to make it worse, she lacks inspiration and goals. What she didn’t know is that the simplicity and boring life she seems to be living has all been set up that way for a reason. She is different, her nature and her future pretty much depends on her ability to survive her own nature, but everything soon changes. Everything changes the moment she meets Doria. She finds him hot, mysterious and hell of sexy. Their sexual encounters are only heighten by their magic, he makes her feel things she never experience before, the only problem is, she doesn’t know is if he is good or bad.

Now, Dorian is the type of character I love. He is sexy, all man. Sexual and complicated, dominant and over powering. He is dark in more than one way, he is compelled and can hardly control his desire for Gabriella and though he knows it is not the right approach to his plans he can’t deny the need, desire and sexual tension that exist between them.

This is one of those stories I can’t help but enjoy, I read through the pages and didn’t stop until I was satisfied. I really enjoyed these characters and the passion, darkness and obsessive desire they all brought to the story. This story is different, magical and oh so very sexy. Dorian’s dark and sensual attitude can make a girl beg in more than one way. He is sexy, smart and has the looks of a sexy devil. I recommend this read if you enjoy sexual tension, sexy and sensual characters and slow and dark seduction. I can’t wait to read book 2 of the series, I didn’t get enough of Gabriella & Doria.
