Description:Her car disabled during a tropical storm, Jessica Randall discovers the isolated house where she’s sheltering is a private bondage club. At first shocked, she soon becomes aroused watching the interactions between the Doms and their subs. But she’s a professional woman–an accountant–and surely isn’t a submissive… is she?
Master Z hasn’t been so attracted to a woman in years. But the little sub who has wandered into his club intrigues him. She’s intelligent. Reserved. Conservative. After he discovers her interest in BDSM, he can’t resist tying her up and unleashing the passion she hides within.

REVIEW: This series not only comes highly recommended but I was told it is one of the best Erotica series/authors out there. Needless to say I was compelled to read it, and I am very thankful for the recommendation.

I admit to not having high expectations, I no longer have them when I read books because more than once I have been burned and fell into disappointment. Club Shadowlands has brought back my lust, and love for Erotica and it has lift up my spirit and it has made of me a believer. Cherise Sinclair is a master of the pen, Club Shadowlands was deliciously enticing, detailed and masterfully executed. There is nothing about this story I didn’t love.

The plot transported me to a world of sensuality, dark desires and delicious need. Jessica is beautiful but inhibited, she is quiet and shy but behind that quiet personality hides a woman whose needs and desires surprises even herself. I think Jessica represents many women, she is the best example of how the lack of confidence and the nagging and terrorizing of a loved one can do to the mind and self-esteem of a woman. While Jessica knows she has some appeal she feels her figure isn’t one she needs to be exposing, especially to a man she doesn’t know. However, the wall that she has put up would soon be brought down by The Master, a man who intrigues her, a man who makes her feel things she never experience before and a man who has woken up something she didn’t know existed within her.

I like how the story slowly develops, Jessica takes us into a journey of new desires, raw emotions and sinful awakening.  Master Zachary is sensual, and passionate, sexy, raw and all man. I fell in-love with his character and I can’t even pin point why, he is sexy, a hunk and a sex machine. I loved him.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I have already purchased the second book Dark Citadel because I don’t want to miss a thing. I am looking forward to reading more about Club Shadowlands and Master Dan.

  • You have no idea how happy I am that you finally started this series, and I’ve been nagging you forever 🙂 I worried you might not enjoy it based on the first book. Admittedly, Master Z and Jessica’s story is very tame in comparison to what will follow. But I can’t wait for you to meet the other Masters. Especially Marcus and Cullen. Now I have someone I can fangirl with, lol.
