REVIEW: Alpha is the first book I read by Tiya Rayne and it certainly will not be the last. Alpha is a military experiment, men that have been created to win wars and destroy the enemy but as in any experiment, there are consequences and a lot of unknown.
As one dives into this well crafted and intriguing story the author beautifully introduces us to Morgan. A woman who is married for appearances and whose life is a living nightmare. Her family isn’t what it appears to be. In the eyes of the world, they are a well-respected family, with wealth, status & power, but beneath that layer of false perfection, lies a web of betrayal, hate & greed. Greed that knows no bound and it is slowly eating Morgan’s life away.
But as Morgan tries to follow her family’s rules and stay by her husband’s side, her world is rattled when she is kidnapped and taken into a military facility. It is there where she meets Alpha, a genetically engineered super soldier that will make Morgan question herself and her sanity.
Alpha is sexy, and a well-crafted story with a ton of suspense, it is intense in its execution and wonderfully sexy in its development. The plot easily explores the length at which some men in power are willing to go in the name of science. It also explores emotions, feelings, power, the many flaws of human nature.
The author crafted a well throughout story, beautifully detailed and enticingly sexy. Individually, each of these characters sparks curiosity and interest, but as a whole, they are explosive.
If you are looking for a fantastically executed paranormal romance, I recommend Alpha. It is exciting, entertainingly sexy, suspenseful and romantic. Morgan, Alpha & Dr. Ryder will keep you glued to the pages until the very end.
