She fell through the space gate and landed on another world. He won't send her back...

At the frat party I see a bright light and find myself sitting on a bed with a huge monster looming over me. I'm terrified and, at the same time, there's something about those black eyes, that scent, that purrrr that makes me come alive.

Horde life is simple. When I find an Omega during a raid, I should deliver her to the compound. If I don't, I'll lose my life, the lives of my Horde Alphas, and I'll start a full-scale rebellion.

And yet, I can't part from her. This one belongs to me.

SERIES REVIEW – THE FIRST 2 BOOKS IN THE SERIES

REVIEW: The series starts with Alpha Breeds – this is the story of Kingsley  & Loven. Kingsley and Loven are from different worlds, but that didn’t stop them from falling in love. But before it all ended between the sheets, these two characters had their little share of drama to overcome. After finding herself in a whole different world, Kingsley battles with the fact that she may no longer be able to go home. When she starts to feel an uncontrollable attraction for Loven she finds that not all is as bad as it seems. Loven, on the other hand, has fought for the honor of one day owning an Omega, but only the King can own them and everyone else has to fight for the right to enjoy one. This story is sexy and exciting, it slowly reveals the dynamics in the Horde and how these beings/men think and how their passion and beliefs play in their societal hierarchy. And as the relationship between Loven & Kingsley progresses, Loven starts to question the king’s motives and the horde’s loyalties all the while setting the foundation for what may come soon. Alpha Breed is fun, erotic and very very exciting. The author did a great job keeping these characters fun and likable while also making the story entertaining.

Cyan

One second, I’m battling an overgrown hedge with a pair of clippers. The next, I’m running for my life, positive I’ve stumbled onto a prank reality show set, complete with a towering, red-haired guy in costume who throws me over his shoulder like I weigh nothing—I’m a big girl, never been thin.

Half of me is horrified to find out I’ve somehow been transported to an alien planet. The other half would sure like to explore the masterpiece of muscle under that armor.

Kinre

Horde life is simple. Hunt the enemy, kill the enemy. But after Loven broke the law by bonding an Omega meant for the king, life got real complicated. Instead of exterminating Telean rebels, I’m playing nice to recruit them for Loven’s stupid rebellion.

Then I make a big mistake. Huge. I rescue a helpless human, only to discover this curvy, tempting morsel is an Omega about to send me into a rut. Fleeing the Telean ship and returning her to the Horde stronghold means abandoning the Telean alliance—and destroying everything we’ve risked our lives for.

I should nip this desire in the bud, but it’s grown beyond my control.

REVIEW: The story continues with yet another human making their way into the Horde with Alpha Bonds.
Cyan is pretty, very independent and has a strong will. She finds herself in a whole other world and she is about to lose her mind. She is outspoken, isn’t afraid to tell you what’s in her mind and certainly being surrounded by aliens isn’t going to stop her. I must say, Cyan is one of my favorite female characters in the series. She is street smart and due to her upbringing, she has a high sense of survival. But when she finds herself face to face with an alien, her attitude changes and she finds himself trusting the alien enough to save her life. Kinre is my favorite alpha, he is funny, intelligent and flat out a great warrior and he isn’t afraid to throw himself into a fight. So after Loven decided to go against the King, Kinre didn’t waste time to offer his skills, to bring intel about their enemy and bring into the horde a possible alliance.  So when Kinre finds Cyan and jumps to save her, his world is thrown upside down but he doesn’t necessarily let his desire drive his instincts – he understands what mating an Omega means but he can’t find within himself to stay away from Cyan. I enjoyed this story even more than I did Alpha Breeds. These two characters balance each other out while also brings out the best of each. I enjoyed this story very much, the seduction and sexy times with this couple were flat out melting hot.

Overall, I think the series is good, of course, there are some characters better than others and some of their individual stories too. In this instance, I think Alpha Bonds is a better story than Alpha Breeds, not just because the characters seem a bit more grounded, but because for some reason, the story seems a little bit more developed. All 4 stories are very entertaining.  They are not very complex or multilayered, however, they are passionate, humorous and very sexy. Do not expect complexity and depth, but do expect alpha males who do not mind cozying up with their females in a corner while also planning to go to war. I read the whole series (4 books) and I highly recommend them if you are looking for something sexy and uncomplicated.
