BLURB: Even the good turn bad sometimes. A life of servitude to God has left Ariel Raine feeling worn out. Being an Angel isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be. Day in and day out of the same routine tends to get tedious. Wanting some spice in her life, she sets her mind on discovering the allure of a sexual encounter. With the help of Madam Eve and her 1 Night Stand dating services, Ariel is about to have her world rocked. Only problem is…her match is a demon. Edison Grey has relied on dating services to claim minions for not only him, but for his master Satan as well. 1 Night Stand just happens to be this week’s preference. No use wasting a good service, Edison decides to have a little fun while he’s at it. Stripping an angel of her purity is an added bonus. What happens between Ariel and Edison is a surprise to both. Even with the threat of punishment looming over top of them.
REVIEW: The Naughty Angel is a sinful and sexy book. The need of an angel becomes the undoing of a demon. The characters are sexy and sinful, the story is steamy and dangerous. I enjoyed the playful and spunky attitude of Ariel and the sinful and unrepentant personality of Edison. Once Ariel has her first taste of the sinful demon she isn’t going to let go. I like how these two characters are able to risk everything for the sake of pleasure. Totally hot!
Do I recommend this book? Heck Yes!
Welcome Sheila and thank you for accepting this interview. I loved The Naughty Angel, it was hot & sexy. It is a pleasure having you here today. I am sure The Naughty Angel is going to be a hit and many will agree when I say this. Ok, without further ado, let’s get to know Sheila a little bit more.
SR: Welcome. Can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Sheila: I’ve been married for 27 years to a wonderfully supportive man who has stuck with me through the good and the bad. We have three grown children, 17, 20 and 24 who always keep me on my toes. I love to write, which is obvious, but aside from that I love to create in other forms such as drawing, painting and knitting. I have a wicked sense of humor and love to scare people. My children are never safe. I’m not sure if I should be proud or annoyed that they inherited my sense of humor. LOL
I’m the type of person who people come to for advice or just to vent, yet I have trouble opening up to others. I once lived in a haunted house and took that experience and worked into one of my books. Discovery in Passion. I’m a huge animal lover. I have six cats, one black lab named Bella and three turtles. I have an awful fear of moths that send me into a panic attack when I’m near one.
SR: Please tell us about the book you’d like to discuss. What’s it about?
Sheila: The Naughty Angel is a story of the good and the bad coming together for one night of sex. Ariel Raine is an angel looking for something different in her life, a sexual experience to end her humdrum life.
Edison Grey uses dating services to find souls to use as his own as well as sending them to his father, Satan. And why not get a little enjoyment while doing it. When the two discover who they’ve been partnered with they are shocked, to say the least. Ariel’s first instinct is to leave, but when Edison taunts her, she agrees to stay. What happens to both of them in this encounter surprises both of them.
SR: Where did you get the inspiration or idea for this book?
Sheila: Watching an episode of Supernatural where an angel surprisingly kisses a demon. It stuck on my mind and one day as I was cleaning, the scenario popped into my head. A bored angel wanting something different in her life and a demon on the prowl for his next victim matched for one night of sex. The perfect ‘Opposites Attract’ situation.
SR: How did the title of your book come about?
Sheila: It was a long painstaking effort which is very unusual for me. I tend to come up with the titles of my books fairly early and sometimes the title is all I have to work with. The Naughty Angel however was a struggle. It started out as The Good, The Bad and the Horney. Angel Does Demon just sounded to seventies porn so I kept plugging at it. The name didn’t actually come to play until long after the book was written.
SR: What is your favorite thing to do when you aren’t writing?
Sheila: Being with my husband. Anything we do together is perfect.
SR:Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published?
Sheila: The first would be signing my first contract. The second would be holding my very own book in my hand.
SR: Can you see yourself in any of your characters?
Sheila: There is a little part of me in every one of my characters. Their strengths, weaknesses and needs.
SR: What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
Sheila: I’m actually very shy and am very uncomfortable in crowds. I’m a solitary being, though I do like to socialize, with close friends and family mostly.
SR: Do you have any upcoming projects in the works or other books that have been published?
Sheila: Right now I’m editing a series I wrote a while back, and sharing chapters of it on my blog That’s What She Said. It’s a story of a woman who has the ability to see and speak to the dead (Shocker, it’s another paranormal lol) She’s visited by a deceased little girl seeking help in finding her killer. It turns out she isn’t the only victim and Samantha is suddenly bombarded by several more young victims. While searching for a killer, she becomes attracted to a married man in the midst of a nasty divorce. I post two chapters a week on Monday and Friday. Curious, check it out. http://shielassays.blogspot.ca/
