This isn’t the first rodeo for ex-Air Force pilot Mia Carter. Still, Cullen’s bad-boy good looks and charm are distracting her from duty. . .and it appears that the feeling is mutual.

As Mia and Cullen make their descent into a dark, dangerous world, their attraction reaches the boiling point. But is their desire worth the risk when a ruthless enemy is waiting in the wings?or will their Lone Star love conquer all in The Protector?
REVIEW: The Protector is book #2 in the Sons of Texas series and this book comes with a bang. It starts right where The Hero left off and we found ourselves along with Cullen and Mia searching for Orin.

Cullen is the youngest of Orin’s sons. His military background puts him in dangerous situations but when his father gets kidnapped by Russians, Cullen has his skills and years in the military to use. The author did a fantastic job creating Cullen story. His ability to captivate the reader with his charm are only as impressive as his skills. I found myself enjoying this story as much as I enjoyed The Hero.

Mia is one of those bad-ass heroines that one can’t help but love. Her attitude, as well as her skill and military experience, makes her invaluable to Orin’s rescue. I found myself stuck to the pages, this is a fast pace good old romantic suspense that I can’t recommend enough.

The chemistry between Cullen & Mia was explosive. I enjoyed how well crafted and paced their story was and how beautifully the author managed to make their romance. The best part of this story is that while both characters new their attraction could be dangerous, they were not too afraid to explore it. I think The Protector was a great addition to the series, the action was explosive and the story was heartfelt. The twists and turns made the story a page turner, the romance was explosive and the characters amazing.

I can’t recommend this story enough, The Protector brings more action than expected, it gives the reader the chance to explore the ins and outs of these sons relationship with each other and the relationship that has been missing with their father.

Do I recommend this book? YES YES
