REVIEW:  I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this animated movie.  Sing is a family film so please gather your family around, get the popcorn and ice cream and enjoy it.

The story starts by introducing us to Buster Moon (Koala) who owns the once very popular theater but which has now been pretty much forgotten by the public. Along with Buster Moon, we have his secretary Miss Crawly who can hardly move but who has been with Buster Moon from the beginning.

Buster Moon is in the process of getting his beloved theater taken by the bank, in an attempt to save his beloved theater he embarks in the ultimate show, the one event that will save him and his theater.

There are many reasons why one should watch this movie with your family. It is extremely funny and it also has a very pure and heartfelt message. A message that will resonate with kids and adults alike. Sing teaches us perseverance, it also teaches us hard work and positive attitude, it also emphasizes on following one’s dream and also teaches humility, honesty, and trust.

As Buster Moon tries to bring his theater afloat he meets awesome animals in the process. From Meena with her shy personality to Rosita a female pig who dedicates her life to her family while knowing she needs more than just her husband and kids. Then we have Mike a selfish and self-absorbed mouse who learns the value of friendship and humility in the best way. We also have Johnny, a gorilla with a heart and voice of an angel, these characters are easily relatable for kids and adults alike.

Each of them brings a distinctive value to the story because each has something to overcome. All these creatures seem to have one thing in common, and most find it very hard to get to the point where doing what they love and being who they want to be. Sing is funny, entertaining and it delivers a great message. Make it your weekend movie because it is worth watching.

Prepare to laugh out loud and dance to the music along with the characters!
